I would like to hear the positive and negative of this scale from shooters who actually use it.
I have the chargemaster and a balance scale, wanting to know if this scale (Frankford) is more accurate than the chargemaster,or is there another one that's better but not in the 1000.00 catagory?
Thanks.

Go back to a mechanical scale, I gave up on digital they generally suck.

It would be hard for me to believe that it is going to be better then CM1500.

Tagged for interest.

chargemaster are generally pretty good auto powder measure/scale. I doubt your going to get much better results than it unless you go to some of the high quality scale only ones like the gempros

I bought a Frankford platinum digital scale earlier this year, very disappointed with it,wanders all the time, won.t hold zero no matter how long you have it on,but what can you expect for 50 bucks,so I only use it now for weighing bullets, for powder back to the old beam scale.

I tried most digital powder dispensers and settled with the RCBS Chargemaster, you can make it slightly more accurate by playing with the settings and modifying the tip if the dispenser screw. Finally, I always checked the charge weight with a digital scale (acculab, sartorius) to confirm before dropping it in a cartridge case. The RCBS was the most accurate at the time I got it. I also had the Hornady dispenser and it sucked.
