Dilemma

Just bought a Magnum Research MLR 1722 in 22lr and am stuck on what to put on it for optics. Part of me just wants a cool plinker and the other part wants to get the most out of this gun in terms of accuracy as they do come with a Bentz chamber and have been very well reviewed as far as precision. I already have a nice scoped CZ 455 Lux so I'm leaning towards a Vortex Sparc 2 or a Nikon Pro Staff Rimfire 4-12x40.

Basically I'm trying to decide between a plinker(red dot) or a precision setup(rimfire scope).

Thoughts welcome, not a serious dilemma just curious what others have to say.

Scope it and see what you can do with it. If you don't you'll end up wondering anyways. You could also keep your eye peeled on the EE for a TRS-25 or a Sparc II at a good price.
