UPDATE: It turns out the resizing die could screw down some more. I thought the die was hitting the shell plate and compressing it. Guess not.

So I resized a WIN 223 REM 1x fired brass as far as it can possibly go on my Dillon 650. Using the case gage, the base is slightly above high step and the case mouth is slightler below the low step! Case length is 1.756"

I resized a 1/2 dozen of these and same results.

Anyone experienced same thing?

I bought a Dillion RT 1200 trimmer from Epps today and other reloading stuff for 223. Almost ready to reload 223. Still missing a few things before I can start.

Alright, I just case gaged a few 1x fired WIN 223 brass before putting into resize/deprime. It pretty much sits flush at the high step. After resizing, it sits above the high step. I must be doing something wrong but I don't know what. :(

Thanks
