Used, and on the EE, you might find one for 80% of retail. More likely it will be 100% of retail, but you'll save the shipping and taxes.

There's little need to discount the price of something that has 100% warrantee coverage and a virtually certain resale.

if you're ready to do business with the US, then you can get the 650 for around 475 usd+shipping.

but more money can be saved with a complete package ordred...then the money saved worth it.

i saved 400$ cad when i ordered from the USA a xl650,primer filler RF-100,dies,powder checker assembly,low primer warning system and some goodies added to that.

But I was gust on their sight and the basic 650 was going for $535?
 
When you buy a XL650 you need the case feeder, the no powder in case alarm, extra primer tubes, extra heads, roller handle, dies, spare parts kit and probably some things I'm forgeting. All said and done I think it came in at $1200.
Then if you have good shoulders you can pump out 1300 rounds an hour!! once!!
I love my 2.
