Dillon 650 lighting

I have had a few squibs on my new dillon 650 press and I have to sort out what is wrong with my process causing this. One thing I would like to do is add lighting to my toolhead so I can check the powder charge better.
Can anyone recommend lighting kits or diy options (possibly with picture)???
 
Any cheap desk lamp will do for what you are trying to accomplish.

Or if you can find like I did .....I had to go to Best Buy for a 2.1amp power adapter....and buy #### luck I was at wall mart and found some leds on clearance....had a buddy wire it up for me took him like 3min to do ....cut ...strip .clamp together...plugged it in and bingo .......if you hit me up with your email address I’ll try to send some pics if it helps you......

Go on eBay and there is a guy who sells the same thing I described...but for like ???...I think $50.00 plus
 
Some good input here! I like the desk lamp idea at least as temporary until I can get something like the online fabrication kit.
Any more Diy lights?
 
Okay, this is VERY ghetto, but it works for me. It's to check for split case mouths as well as powder charge. The lamp is simply clipped to the case feeder stem. Those clip-on lamps cost like $10 at Walmart I think, but got it a few years ago. Inside is a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb because I care about the environment!

Or you could purchase a "powder charge checker direct from Dillon and NEVER have to worry about a wrong charge again neither double charge or squib charge will get by it unnoticed. And you will get to sit back comfortably in your chair and not have to strain your neck & back trying to squint up a clear look into a case...just sit back, watch the little blue battery box if it squeals and crank more rounds...that's why the 650 has 5 stations
 
I was waiting for the powder Checker suggestion. I have a bullet feeder and seat / crimp separate. I have considered it but would have to get rid of my factory crimp die
 
I have the powder checker and bullet feeder. Just go to the usual die that both seats and crimps at the same time. Nothing wrong with it, and never had an issue. I wouldn't do without the powder checker, it's so simple, but works great, I think Tenda carries them in stock, and I picked mine up at Epp's
 
I have My DIY light installed about $5
3d printed the housing for a car LED backlight and a 12 V DC adapter from the local thrift store.
