An old post, but still relevant. Likely the most versatile press of all, is the Dillon 550. Fully able to handle both pistol and rifle reloading, with ease. It may be worth your time to look one of these over. The Square Deal is a good press...but limited. In time, you may wish to load other cartridges. So the extra capability of the 550 will be good to have.
Relatively expensive...yes. But.... not when viewed as a long term investment.
For example: My own Dillon 550 B has been running trouble-free, since the early 1980's. Requiring only regular maintenance, in all that time. Replacement of worn primer tube tips, that's about it. No other part on the press has broken or worn out. A testament to Dillon's build quality.
Have you considered the Lee Turret Press? This simple, yet highly versatile and moderately priced press, may also be worth a look.
