dillon reloaders

Buy straight from Dillion. My RL550B took 8 days to get to my door (would have been 7 if Fedex did there damn job but thats another story) and after all of the duties and taxes, I saved $150 from what I could get it from a Canadian reseller.

My choice is the Dillon 550 especially for multiple calibers and their warranty is the best. About ten years ago my Dillon tumbler was destroyed in a basement flood while I was on the west coast. I called Dillon to ask about a replacement motor andd told them what had happened with the idea of repairing it, they said send it back and they replaced it, no charge.

Go with the 550. I had seven Dillons at one time when I was shooting in competition every week, three 1050s, two 550s and two square deals. The 1050s are beautiful but expensive. My bench now has one 1050 and one 550, and the 550 would easily do everything I need.

Anything I have had from Lee has been junk in my experience, handloading for 50 years,
IMHO.

Bought my 550 and most of the extras from P&D . they were exactly to the penny with the quote online. excellent service 5 days from edmonton to northern ontario. 550 is in my opinion the most versetile press made as it can be used like a single stage, a turrent or a progressive. i love being able to run a single case back and forth while setting dies and the ability to load one complete round at a time if i want. ie i can load 5 or 10 round batches when devloping a load. Will never go back to the other stuff. come to the dark side and drink the blue cool aid.

Bought my 550 from P&D as well.

My Dillon 550B has been great and does everything I need it to. I load .40, .223 and soom to start on 9mm. I've been loading for 3 IPSC seasons - I'm scared to add up how many rounds that is...
I would buy another one.

I have a SDB since 1994.... Dillon's no BS warranty is very pleasant, they didn't ask what you've done,,, just the address to ship the parts. It's true that SDB dies are proprietary to it but I don't mind, I have a quickchange kit for 9mm and one for .357.. 5 minutes to change between caliber and ready to go for about 3-400 rounds per hour.

The 650 is great to do mass reload but is a real pain when making only small amount, like when looking for a "best load"... in my humble opinion
