i purchased an XL650 used and the case feeder is mounted to the rear of the loader (all the pictures on the website show it off to the left where i would like it)
the mounting pole is predrilled and i can only reverse it 180 and make it forward which doesn't help
looks like i'll have to drill new holes to rotate the mounting pole 90

The pre-drilled hole is not for the casefeeder, it is for a support arm to support the brass holding tube if the casefeeder is not attached. The manual for the casefeeder shows how to mount it.

The pictures do not do it justice. The case feeder is actually at a 45 degree angle so while it is on the left it is also projecting to the back. As far as I can tell there is only one way to mount it so that it lines up with the casefeeder slide assembly at the shellplate properly. I could be wrong but that's the way mine is. If you don't have the manuals, they are all available on the Dillon website as pdf documents. Check out www.dillonprecision.com, the Manuals tab.
