I found an old tobbaco tin of my Grandfathers and in it were some diopter peep sights, inserts, rear tang sights, ramps ect. I was wondering if any precision shooters woud recognize and help to identify t hem?
Love the old pamphlets and stuff!
The sight is a Lyman, and it looks like it will fit some Mossberg and Remington
.22 rifles.
On the box it is marked exactly which rifles it will fit.
The inserts of course, are for a Lyman front aperture sight.

Thanks Cat....I have an old single shot Remington of his {most accurate rifle I own!} I'll check to see if it's drilled and taped for the peep attachment, but I've never noticed extra machining on it before.....regards,Plinker
