My DIP CZ455 rail just arrived and I am installing it as we speak. My question to those using the same rail is did you actually torque the tiny set screws to the recommended 6-8 inch lbs, and if so, where the hell did you get a torque driver bit with that small of a bit?! Lol, I am sure that most have just hand tightened them, but as the set screws simply tighten down onto the flat surface, I want to make sure I get them tight enough but not overly tight for the tiny set screw...

Yes, I am anal when it comes to torque settings on my rifles/mounts/scopes..... And after all, this rail will be dealing with the punishing recoil of the brute .17HMR! :p

I've got a trio of CZ's with DIP rails. I took a single led shot, (#8 if I recall correctly), and dropped one into each screw hole in the rail before screwing it down onto the receiver. This prevented any marring. I was out of locktite at the time, so didn't use any. After a year 2 had come loose, and one is still holding strong a number of years later. On all of them I hand tightened them to what I guestimated was 7lbs.

Love them there CZ's. Which model of 455 is it, and what glass have you got lined up for it?

Thanks,
Cal.
