I'm on my last box of Win Dynapoint .22lr, and I made the mistake of leaving it in the back of my cousin's quad.. in the bulk cardboard box.

Not did the box explode, but he made a point of throwing his empty coke cans back there, allong with some unrecognisable sludge... possibly muskeg.

I suffered through a few magazines of the sticky, dirty ammo as it was a new box. Obviously my 10-22 didn't like it.

What would be the best way to clean the ammo? Or am I better off just tossing the box?

I would be careful with putting rimfire ammo in a tumbler.. The primer powder isn't really contained like a centerfire primer is.

Anyway, just wipe them all down with a wet rag, and make sure you dry them all off after.
