I think I need to wash my hands when I handle the rifle. No idea what the smudges are.:p

AC Douglas trued the receiver and bolt face, pillar bedded, floated the barrel, and tweaked the trigger to a smidge under 3 pounds..

I think it turned out pretty good!

So now I just need to find some time to fireform some brass and develop a coyote load for the upcoming winter.

Nice! :)

Funny you mention about the parts gun thing. I have all the fixin's here for a faux TI parts gun in 7/08. Everything from the trigger, floorplate, action, bbl, stock came from a different rifle.

So now I just need to find some time to fireform some brass and develop a coyote load for the upcoming winter.
I was thinkin' that would be a fine wolf gun for you. Didn't realize you had coyotes there too.

Sharp looking rifle Pickles ! Looking forward to a range report.
You should be in a good area for coyote action, back in the 70s and 80s I did a lot of hunting East of Dundurn toward the Touchwood Hills.
At that time the coyote population was unbelieveable...
