So I had an interest in trying out some of their sights, a neat concept, so I ordered a pair. One standard delta cross hair unit and a factory refurbished (warrantied) tritium crosshair reticle. $35 US dollars shipping and two weeks later they arrived and I was pretty stoked to check em out.
I pulled the delta unit out first and I was quite impressed, exactly what I expected it had a very bright and clear sight picture. This is gonna be a good sight.
The next to come out of the box was the refurb tritium unit. As soon as I brought it to my eye I could tell something was off. The lazer etched reticle was glued in crooked. They sent me a lame duck.
I contacted the company to the same email address that sent my receipts and shipping notifications and got no response. I later sent a message through their contact us form on their web sight. They’d responded and asked for photos. I sent them photos and they said that must be the reason it was a refurb unit. I explained that fixing it before selling it would make it refurbished but in its current state it is just broken. They stated they would be happy to replace it as soon as I ship it back to them on MY dime.
I explained that was unacceptable to me as I had already paid them to ship it to me once and they sent me a dud. We went back and forth and though I was firm I remained civil. They simply stopped responding.
I paid through (FRAUD ALERT) and I have filed a claim with them for the value of the one dead sight as it is garbage to me. I’ll post when I have more info.
I really wanted to love these, and in fact I am very excited to try out the basic unit next time I get out plinking. I just have a terrible taste in my mouth from dealing with a company that clearly doesn’t take responsibility for their own mistakes.
Forgive my grammar, I am on a phone.
