disassembling a Baikal SxS...?

...anyone know how to disassemble these things?

I can find nothing on YouTube ( the do it yourselfer's guide to guns ) ...

My receiver is loose against the stock... and really needs to be tightened... I know that there is usually a long bolt that is accessed from the the back of the stock after removing the butt plate... but this baikal has no obvious way to remove the butt plate ( recoil pad ) ... no screws, nothin'

the trigger guard is also affixed by what looks to be a pin...? there is one 'ornate' flat head screw lookin' thing in front of the trigger guard... but after trying to remove it carefully without putting undo torque on it, I have decided it must be meant to stay...?

I'm at a loss here... any help would be greatly appreciated...

Gently probe the recoil pad where you figure the screws should be. There'll be holes there, but the rubber pad will be covering them.

I'll take another look... but it sure seems as though there are no holes to be found... damn Russians!!

Jesus H!!! there are microscopic holes there!! how the hell did I miss that!?

Once you get them out replace with a robison or philups head screw that way the slot screw driver doesn't tear up the pad. Or drill out the holes where the screw holes are to make it easier.
