Hi,

I am looking for a book that has good visuals for disassembling and reassembling rifles... Specifically I need it to include browning BLR's (pre 81 if possible)

Can anyone recommend any titles or other resources?

Thanks!!

Hey, Thanks for the info... I found copies of Gun Digest centerfire and shotgun disassembly books online... am going to try and fund a local place that sells them (GTA) if not amazon.

Thanks for the help!

"Small Arms of the World" by W.H.B. Smish and Joseph E. Smith has a bunch of disassembly guides in it alongside write ups and general histories, though it is dated as it refers to the M1 Garand as "our newest technology". It's pretty much Forgotten Weapons the book.

Brownell's published "Gun Kinks" with a bunch of tips for gun assembly/disassembly. IIRC, the BLR gets special mention in Volume 2.
I may have a well used set of the Gun Digest volumes.

In my book collection I like the NRA series of books.

Also anything by J.B Wood is always good. He has an entire series on disassembly of pistols, shotguns and rifles. I think there's 8 in total.

That's the ones I mentioned were published by Krause. If you can't find a dealer for them, you could probably contact Krause .

Excellent books.
