There is things sometime that you just discover and they are awsome, did put a Hilux 1X4 30mm CMR scope on my TD 10mm, yesterday afternoon my sons and i went in the back field so they could try my rig, emptyes plastic bottle were our target, all togheter we just blowned out 250 UMC 180 gr out of the 10mm, this thing is incredibly fun and accurate, the fact the Hilux is such a accurate scope ( for sure will order another one this week ) combined to the full reliability of the TD, overall the verdict so far 300 rounds and no malfuctions, i was worry in the begining but now i am very satisfied... JP.

Happy New year and i have to agree on the hi-lux. I have it on my 300 blackout and will be ordering second for my 223 ar :)

Have you tried it at any distances? I have a CMR on my 14.5" AR in .223 and I was thinking about optics for my 10" in 300blackout. Wondering if the reticle bdc would be of any use on the blackout. If they are close I might pick up another CMR.
So far I'm really impressed with the hi-lux and think it's the best 1-4 for the money. I shopped around for a long time and kept coming back to the CMR. I think it has the best options and quality for the price. I even had a leupold I was looking at and the CMR ended up on my rifle.
My only issue with it is that it adds a lot of weight to a rifle but it's no more than any other 1-4 would be.

From 25 to 75 yards, it was dead on a one liter pop bottle, each shot was hitting, the tiny dot in the scope on the 4X setting is REALLY a fast aquiering target reticule, one of the best i tried... Just succeded at securing 1500 rounds of 10mm UMC 180 gr for a great price (0.40 cent a round )... JP.

1500 rounds for that price? :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug: man. That's something else. Once you get it all fired off, can I buy some brass? I'm running low :(

I have a CMR on my XCR and I too am very impressed with the scope, especially at it's price point. My only complaint is the turret size, I'd prefer some lower profile ones.

Just placed and order for 2 ... one for th AK application ( for less velocity caliber ) and one with the green same as i have... JP.

Glad to hear the Hi lux love. I ordered two about 3 months ago to be added to an AR10 order from Wolverine. Canada post once again managed to raise my blood pressure by an attempted delivery 5 minutes before I returned home followed by not taking it to the pickup centre before it closed on New years Eve. Will be picking up the package today. I'm looking forward to checking out these scopes. Wolverine is an excellent dealer. Oh and I went with red illumination. I prefer it over green even though green is easier to see when it's bright out.

Purely a medical question in my case i can barely see nothing that is illuminated in red... JP.

The CMR-AK will be more suited for my TD 10mm as the reticule is balanced for a 2300 fps bullet, closer to the 1500 fps i get from my 180 gr UMC ammo, the CMR is balanced for a 223 @t 3200 fps... JP.
