I'm getting real tired of doing this old school, so I'm looking at some alternatives. The ones I've seen online but not in person are the Lyman 1200dps II and the RCBS Chargemaster combo.
My main considerations are in order:
1. accuracy
2. strength (reliability)
3. ease of use

Thoughts/opinions

I have been using the Lyman DPS II for a while now.

It is very accurate - I have never had any of the "wandering zero" complaints some reviews have alluded to.

It is fairly fast. It will weight out 70 grains of stick powder as fast as I can seat a bullet in the previous case and place it in the loading block.

It is easy to clean out - less than a min. once you get the hang of it.

It is VERY easy to calibrate and use.

The only downsides are that it takes a full 30 min to warm up and the indicator "beep" is quite loud and can't be turned down. In any case I usually turn it on and then prime the cases and set up the seater die while I am waiting.

I also have the RCBS Chargemaster Combo, and have been wondering why I took so long to get one. Great Rig, accurate, quick warmup, very programmable, easy to clean out. Regards, Eagleye.
