Districorp 1994 catalogue

I never did learn what happens to them. They did launch a website for a short span of years then vanished. They were great to deal with back in the day.

Right up until the ban, ex-police cz85’s in excellent used condition were around $600 or so. They bought one myself at that time. Of course new prices had gone way up.

I can remember yearning for the CZ 85's and the CZ99's in the early 90's. I liked how the CZ99's resembled a SIG P226, but had an ambidextrous mag release and safety-decocker.

I wanted both of them since I'm a southpaw, but by the time I got around to buying any CZ's, the CZ 85 was discontinued.

Oh well, the CZ 75 in .40 and the SP-01 have ambi safeties. I don't need an ambi mag release or slide release. I can hit them both with my trigger finger.

I Remember buying a lot of ex Thai military m1 Garand rifles from them that were sold as parts guns
The walnut stocks were very nice and for some reason were very hard
The Winchester’s had 1967 Winchester barrels
They were only missing small parts and needed cleaning

Obviously a Luger for $550 & PPK for $250... But a Lee Enfield No.4 for under 95 bucks was still a great deal for even back then, depending on condition. The sporterized ones from Le Baron still sold for something like 75 bucks back then...
