Has anyone ordered gun parts from Dixie Gunworks in the U.S.
I just ordered a couple of hands with springs and they didn't charge for shipping.
What kind of service can I expect from them???

Has anyone dealt with Coltparts in Vancouver Washington? If so what kind of service did you get??
have dealt with them over the past 6 years and no issues at all. only problem is with canada customs where things go missing for up to 4 weeks and tracking shipment stops at the border. worst case i had was on flintlock parts which probably confused them thus the 4 weeks. they are a good source for original parts on some older antiques like brown bess. regards
I have had good service from DGW in the past and my only complaint was the shipping surcharge to Canada that essentially doubled my cost for a $15 spring recently. Great source for odd parts.
I've delt with Coltparts out in Washington. Had better luck by calling and talking to them than trying to communicate by email. Very satisfied with the products........wTc
I have been dealing with Dixie gun works since 1965. They have always been great to deal with.
I even imported some B.P. revolvers from Dixie in the early 1980s - no hassle then.
