DIY Spotting Scope Mount

I decided to make my own spotting scope mount from odds and ends in the shop. I used an old bar clamp, some 3/4" tubing, an angle bracket, an old cheap tripod head and a photographer's quick clamp. The scope can move up and down as well as full regular tripod movement. Meant to be clamped to edge of shooting bench.

Here is the finished bracket, the quick clamp attached to the angle bracket, and that attached to the tripod head...The Smallrig Cool Ball Head Arm mount is available from Amazon.ca

Here is the modified bar clamp...the jaws are reversed, and the bar is shortened and the tubing is cut to shape and fitted onto the bar..

Disappointed. The thread title suggested we might see something ridiculously bad, but what you have done there makes sense. You'll never get on the Red Green Show with that.
