My apologies, I'm not 100% sure I have this in the right place. The DIY section said nothing firearms related there, but this gunsmithing part obviously focuses on working the metal. I am trying to see if there's any material on here about someone who made their own wood stock or made cosmetic modifications to an existing one. I am a wood worker and think it would be a fun project to make a stock for a lever action or shotgun, and I cannot find anything so far on here, but I wonder if maybe I'm not searching for the right specific terms. Even if not a scratch build, maybe then something cosmetically done like wood burning? I've seen a couple builds people elsewhere have done of rifles where you make the whole stock and the action is bedded in the top, but I'm wondering about where it's two parts, the butt stock and then the foregrip such as in lever action or shotgun. Any help directing me to projects on here or on other pages where someone's made one and you thought it looked amazing would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
