I followed this tutorial. I am extremely impressed with the outcome. I don't have a trigger scale, but it noticeably reduced the weight, and completely eliminated any gritty feel.
To the OP: Thank you very much for your effort of posting this info. I did some dry firing tonight, and had a chuckle after each of the first few trigger pulls, humoured by how good this trigger is now. I hope to find a trigger scale to borrow, and will post my result.
