You guys with these barrels, I was wondering with the match chamber, is there any ammo that doesn't feed so well? I just installed a 16" .920 on my 10/22 but haven't tried it yet. These things really look beautifully made, hope to get out tomorrow to try it out. Just looking for impressions on these barrels from those that have them. Thanks!

I have the 16" fluted HB... Haven't tried match ammo but I have shot Dynapoints, Fed 510's, Win Xpert's, Yellowjackets, win 333's and all fed perfectly. Mine is most accurate with 333's and YJ's.
I tried cci minimags and they wont completly chamber along with stingers & quick shoks.

Thats good to know that most bulk ammo you tried worked well. Thats what I was hoping to hear. Will have to get some 333 packs and try them out. Thanks for the post!

I've got the Dlask 16" fluted barrel as well, Dlask receiver, Dlask picatinny scope rail, Kid 2 stage trigger, Kid action pins and buffer. Kid bolt, bolt handle, guide rod and spring on the way. Going to mount it all in a Bell and Carlson Odessey stock. I've got the barrel broken in now and it is very accurate if I do my part. Here are some pics from today's range trip. First the rifle.

Sorry, forgot about the ammo question. I have tried Federal 525 bulk pack, 510, 710 and American Eagle, Winchester Dynapoints,333, Expert and T22, CCI Minimags, Subsonics and Blazer, Eley, Lapua and SK Standard Plus. Have not had any problems chambering any of these, accuracy however is a new ball of wax. SK is my go to ammo.

Usually I shoot with Fed Champ 510 or Fed Bulk...no issue. Eley, Lapua and SK, no issue either. I got feeding problem with Winchester Wilcat and Blazer bulk ( one blew up in the receiver and broke my mag ) Also shot some Win Ex HV and Win 333 and didnt have any feeding trouble. Enjoy your new rifle!

Thanks guys! Wow accuracy looks good! Surprisingley I can get SK ammo here and I actually have some tot try. Might get out today to try it out. 22forever, what power glass are you using on your 10/22? What setting at 25m? Thanks again!

Alphamike, try the SK ammo, you'll like it. It's not available here in BC so I order case lots out of Nova Scotia. I use a Leupold VX II 4-12X40 scope and leave it set on 12 power.

Very nice setup 22forever.

I have to admit I haven't come across these barrels before, I am going to look into them now.

Nice groups! But I should say 25 yd is not a challenging distance for a .22 LR. My 10/22 with factory polished trigger parts and Kid 20" Heavy SS barrel does single hole 10 shot groups all day long at 25 M. And so does my brand new, very old, Husqvarna Youth .22 LR. And they'll do it with different ammo also, like SK, RWS Club 22, CCI Green Tag, Eley Sport and Federal Gold Medal.

I prefer to shot at 50 M, where the groups get only a little larger but I can more easily see my errors. I'd love shooting at 100m also, but the Nazis at my range don't allow it. :(

Oh, I forgot to say, I love SK ammo, too. For the price, this SK .22 Magazine ammo performs amazingly. Only complaint I'd have is: they are greasy. But the way they shoot, who cares? Only RWS Club 22 shoots as good in my rifles, but it's harder to find at this moment.

I do alot of shooting at 25m, as I try to get impressive results out of even the cheapest ammo. 50m obviously is more of a challenge most definitely and do that regularly as well. I also shoot alot of 25m with my Mossberg 144 LSB and shooting one hole groups gets even more of a challenge (for me at least) with iron sights. 22forever I love the look of your rifle, in the future I might get the fluted barrel, and I have shot quite a bit of the SK ammo out of my Savage Mako and have had very good results with it. I want to try and spend a day and experiment with the new barrel and see what I can accomplish with it. How do you like your Dlask scope rail? I might order one. They sure look good!

That is a very nice group, indeed!

I just wish the Nazis at my range would allow 100 m shooting with .22's, but I' stuck at 50 m. In any case, I don't think my 10/22 (and probably nor my technique) would be able to produce a group like that at 100m. Not at this moment, anyways. I am getting one holers at 50m, but always with a flyer to open up the group. I am thinking about reducing headspace by grinding the bolt face a bit, but I just haven't mustered the courage to do it, yet.

Congrats again, very nice group!
