DLASK 10/22 barrels

im looking at purchasing a heavy barrel for my ruger, ive noticed that the dlask are around the 165 mark where as the butler and creek ones are 200 and up, im just curious what the major differnce is??
any advice on wich to pic??
 
From what I have read Butler Creek has been hit and miss and Dlask seems to be consistant in the accuraccy department. Dlask was my option until I rechambered my own barrel.
 
I don't think I have seen any stainless on his site, Fabsports has some thou. I have 2 DLASK barrels now, both shoot very well with cheap bulk ammo.
 
i was looking at the 20 inch barrel, i just got one of those boyd tacticool free floating stocks, i only have the standard reciver for it will the barrel drop??
 
The barrel may droop or may not. Depends on how tight the barrel fits your receiver. Can you bed the first 2 " of barrel. I use to turn my action upside down when I installed the v block just to keep the barrel pointing up as much as possible. Now I have my own V block made that is adjustable.
