Dlask 12.5 inchers

I am still waiting for DLASK to tell me they are producing them again ... not sure on his timeframe but hopefully soon.... I have been looking for one for the last three months.

I called them last week regarding the 12.5 in bbls, and the said they aren't taking orders yet and dont bother calling back until September!

Been waiting for mine since April of LAST YEAR !

Me think there is a problem somewhere!

.

Dlask makes excellent products etc etc, BUT they also work on their schedule not yours. I purchased an M4 and was told 2-3 weeks, I'm like great, 3.5 months later I get it, then the following day he put's the same gun on sale... But on the bright side, it's an excellent rifle and works great...

the last time i popped into the shop, they were just receiving new cnc equipment and were discussing getting it all set up. Not sure if this is the reason for any delays but..... work done at dlask, especially by Joe himself is worth the wait in my books. I have NEVER been disappointed in any of my dealings with dlask, they have always sent me home a happy man

I also can't complain about DLASK... they've always taken in my little jobs and given me good turn-around / pricing :)

Jo and Dean are good guys.

They've always been good to me - both in actual work done and in taking the time to discuss some of the more rediculous projects which i'm sure i'll get around to ONE of these days... :)

Sounds like there is conflicting information out there, or else all their employees are not of the same page.

I also called them about this last week and was told that they are expecting to have some available "hopefully" by the end of the month.

Dlask makes good stuff but has BAR NONE the worst service in the business IMHO. You cannot believe ANYTHING you're told by them over the phone.

And yes, I have Dlask stuff - including a DAR701, so I don't have a hate-on for Dlask or anything. Just lots of bad phone service and missed promised deadlines.

On an Express to compare the finish, to be honest I am not sure if it is parked or dull blued.

I believe they are blued... DLASK is not setup for Parking :)
(I just had my barrel done a few weeks ago)

The bluing looks good as mentioned (shown) above... it looks park'd ;)

now THAT's an awsome gun Ike,
i have 2 old "police" wingmaster (18" and 20") that needs refinishing. i was thinking of matching them with Dlask finish to make one of them look exactly like yours (with a metal trigger guard :D and a 2 3/4 chamber :( ). can i blue the bolt assembly too?

Wingmasters, like all 870's, have aluminum trigger guards. Some police models have blued bolts, others have chromed wingmaster bolts. If your is chromed, it can;t be blued without blasting the chrome off first.

ya know i really try not to slam dealer on herar but ...
Dlask has no service at all, why do they even bother making anything if they never come up wit the good.
its a real pain in the ass if you ask me.
ive been waiting for me 2 12.5in barrle since last year.
