Put my new 14" Dlask on my 870 Wingmaster.
Its really stiff to cycle/pump.
Works fine with the factory 18" barrel.
Whats going on ???

Is the barrel slightly larger and interferring with the forearm? Are the slide arms binding up on it? Look to see what is causing it...

The forestock is rubbing on the undserside of the barrel. The barrel is larger diameter than the factory and you have to sand/shave the 'inside edge ' (the part you see when the barrel is taken off) of the forestock until it stops rubbing. It is very common.

Just had a thought. One of those sanding sponges from walmart or can-tire would also do the job. This would also work better in the space you need to shave off.

Just another thought...wrap your barrel in 80-100 grit sandpaper and rub your forend over the spot it's binding.

For cases like this, they work very easily and well. This what I used for the same job as well as some deburring.
