Hey guys I've been in search of a new AR for quite some time now but I haven't really found anything yet, been doing some research and I stumbled upon Dlask AR-15s online. There were no real specs listed but for the price I would hope its made well. Any opinions or reviews on these ARs? Anybody know if they're mil-spec? Thanks guys!

Well, what I know of them is, they are Canadian, make quite a few of their own parts.
That's always a plus.

They use generic AR parts for the rest like everybody else, so that suggest mil-spec compatibility.

They have been known to have sketch QC in the past, but I have not heard any complaints recently. Most I hear about them is that they make quality stuff.

I'm leaning towards a Dlask lower myself for my recent AR build.

I don't think I'd hesitate to buy one if I was on the market for a complete gun, but I'm new to AR's.

The only thing I've heard bad about them, is that they are busy busy people, so sometimes getting hold of them to place your order is difficult, but otherwise good service and workmanship when you do.

Dlask is a Canadian company that makes custom gun parts and ar15 parts

They are milspec and I have heard only gpod things about there stuff

Hope this helps

Cheers

I got no complaints with my rifle. I've had an armalite, Colt, And a Remington. I like the Dlask more than the others. The fact that it's a Black rifle made in Banada is An added bonus.

They are now sponsors on this board, so I'm sure we'll see lots of cool stuff from them in the future.

I want to see a Dlask AR with a 14.5 medium contour barrel with mid-length gas system. I also want a farting beaver engraved on the side of the lower. MAKE IT HAPPEN!:D

Joe's lowers are some of the nicest I have seen. Not to mention the option to have them custom engraved.

His Brakes and Flash Hiders are top notch, and everything comes with a very high quality fit and finish. I'd highly recommend his product.

I've only been disappointed once with his stuff once. I ordered one of his flat top uppers and thought I was going to get an upper made by him to match the rest of the parts he does, but instead got sent a crappy DD upper.

Oh the horror.

There was a group buy of Dlask lowers with the CGN logo on them back 4 or 5 years ago (maybe more). I along with a bunch of other people here bought them. I haven't heard of any problems with them. Like Conte said, they use generic lower parts kits but will upgrade you if you want.

Who makes this rifle in Canada?

I have the Dlask Mini Moose 8.5 with the A6 muzzle break and its the loudest AR on the range, had a recent issue with the gas line but Joe is handling it now and I have faith in his work, #### happens and its good to deal direct with the guy built my rifle.

Also bought his top of the line 1911, very satisfied with it having previously owned Springfield and S&W 1911s.
