Just finished up more 870 12.5" & 14" barrels. They are our usual made-in-Canada 870 'bull' barrels. These can be threaded for Rem choke if needed. I also have 5 Shorty shotguns in stock and ready to go. The perfect companion for those trips to the back country. More goodies to come...

We modify the mag tube so no other barrels will fit. That being said, we can move the barrel lug on a 28" back to fit the Shorty so it is interchangeable. We have done this on some 14" barrels for people that have the Shorty but also want something a bit longer at times.

I've been kickin' tires on one of these for a while. Push me over the edge...

Let's say I buy the 8.5", then get an extra 12.5" and 28" barrel. Can I extend the magazine for the longer barrels? (I'm guessing an aftermarket mag extension, then I'd need a longer spring...?) What about forearm changes? The 8.5" version looks pretty small. Can I still slap on some old wood stocks and a 28" barrel and go skeet shoot with the local seniors without looking out of place? Or am I limited in selection of aftermarket stocks (forearms) that can attach?

12.5" seems right for a bush gun, but 8.5" would be a lot of fun too! If I can have both, why not? (unless I'm stuck to 3x 2 3/4 capacity forever.)

Anyway, I'm buying one of these off you soon. It's just a question of which one.

Thanks guys

When they do get them back in stock, get one of each. Here is how far they stick out on a normal mag tube that holds 4. In my opinion only, this is the better choice for a serious camp gun. Notice how thick the barrel is even with the choke tube. You won't get that with the Remingtons.
