So I have a moral dilemma, I bought a NR bushmaster ACR a few years back that was re-barreled with a Dlask Arms 18.5" ACR barrel. Now I see they're importing ACR DMR's with a factory stainless 18.5" right from bushmaster.

Are Dlask Arms Barrels good quality? Would it be worth trying to get my hands on a factory bushmaster SS Barrel? Or do you think the Dlask arms is suitable to keep on the gun?

I have tried to research Dlask barrels but haven't found much resources online about this company. Are their barres good quality and deliver good accuracy?

Dlask uses Green Mountain blanks. They are decent. Not a Bartlein or Shilen, but good. I would bet on par with the OEM barrel...which ALSO could be Green Mountain technically.

The DMR barrel is easily twice as heavy as the Dlask ones.

Keep the Dlask.

Exactly, if you're feeling the urge, go for a bartlien/krieger. My old Herron conversion with a bartlien was a solid 3/4 moa rifle with five round groups.

If your rifle has the basic polymer handguard it will no longer fit if you do the DMR barrel.

Ian at Herron Arms can machine up a barrel of your choice, fit it and get the status changed for you

?

Where do you get this idea the ACR DMR has a factory SS barrel?

It is clearly stated that on bushmaster website and in their brochures the barrel is a 4150 CHF barrel that is melonited -ie QPQ. Quench polish quench process where the barrel is surface hardened through salt bath nitrocarburization
