Dlask Barrel Finish

Just got a Dlask 12.5" barrel. Anybody know what the matte black finish is? GunKote, Duracoat, Tremclad? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they are bead blasted and blued, or blackened in some way.

Certainly not parkerized.

There is no paint type finish on them from what I've seen so far.

For the plain civilian model, just regular blue.
If you want park, you special order it, or do it yourself. In Vanc area, BitsOfPieces makes amazing parkerizing.

LEO and Military models are both blued or parked, depending on order.

It is hot bluing. It is actually quite durable and mine is also fairly rust resistant....much more so than the Wingmaster it was mated to.

Glad to hear that parkerizing is now an option. Same price? Zinc or Manganese phosphate?

When they first started making these I asked about parkerizing and was told that they didn't do it. I then asked about getting the barrel in the white to save a couple of bucks and park it myself. Pretty sure they never got back to me.
