I made an order today.
Joe is away on a 5 week trip. He had a great deal on some 8 round 1911 45acp mags ($30 blued steel, $32 stainless steel), so I went down and chatted with him just before he left. When he comes back, he will be closing down the shop

Yes, Joe confirmed it when I went down just before he left for his trip. When he returns, he will be doing a selloff of all his remaining stock.
Take it from the horses mouth. Till then, breath. One guy posting means @#$%. Tell you what, I went with Joe and we and scored some .45 mags. On horseback no less. The whole time he never said anything to me about the shop
yes, he still has some barrels & forearms for those shorty 870's, he mentioned he may put together some shorty's if he has time.
Our range has been dealing with him for the last 20 years, and he's been talking about retiring for at least the last 10 years lol. This is the first time he's told us he's closing down his shop thoughSo REALLY not retiring then
