I know the answer is "just buy and try one yourself", but wondering if anyone is a fan of these? Anyone here like them enough to get a second? I'm back and forth on the idea. OK with a little extra weight for a little advantage..and I do like the look.

Thoughts?

I got one along with a Dlask 8" barrel. I have not tried firing without the compensator, as the stock is cut to fit both the barrel and compensator together. It performs well, but I have not bench tested for accuracy and precision. I put the build together for offhand plinking with a red dot on reactive targets and it performs in this function enough to my liking that I have not gone further with it.

If I were to build another rifle for the same purpose, I would probably do the same thing again.

Very cool...

Yeah, may grab one and try it out then. Have it in mind for the T1x, and I've found that rifle to be more accurate than it even needs to be as a field gun. I'll maybe try the DLASK on it/bench testing with the Tikka's favorite ammo types. That gun will likely be called-up for gopher duty this year.

thanks guys!

Ive owned several and like them. Ive had great luck with Dlask products. I never seen any depreciation in accuracy using one, My first Vudoo consistently shot better groups with the Heathen than without it or with the thread protector. Who knows with rimfire until you try. If its working then just smile and keep sending rounds!!! Cheers

Seems to send a bit more of the noise forward, which helps with minimal or no hearing protection outdoors.

I have one and don't know if it makes much difference over testing of ammunition.
It may be an uncontrolled variable and I have just left it on.
What it does do, when cleaning from the chamber to the muzzle with a Bore Snake, there is no contact between the snake and the muzzle eliminating contact with the crown.

I only shoot match ammo so noise isn’t really a concern but I use ear protection the vast majority of times even when shooting 22 rimfire!
