Does anyone know if Dlask ever made 10/22 barrels with a match chamber?

I'm having trouble chambering cartridges with longer case dimensions like the CCI Stinger. All the current barrels offered by Dlask appear to have a sporter chamber but I'm wondering if I got one with a shorter match chamber. The rifle was purchased second hand so the barrel is of unknown vintage.

They made barrels with tighter tolerance chambers. I had issues extracting live rounds from mine even with a better extractor. The chamber needed regular cleaning or I would have issues feeding. I eventually took it back to Dlask and had the chamber opened up and I've had no issues since then.

Use Velocitors. They're better than Stingers in almost every way anyways... They hit harder, are more accurate and have a shorter case.

I believe Dlask used Bentz chambers which could cause problems with some ammunition.
Interesting. Thanks for the info. This seems to match my experience.

Are Bentz chambers meant to be more accurate as long as you keep them clean? Just wondering why they were made like this

I would also check if you have a carbon ring. If you purchased used then without proper cleaning a carbon ring will develop and this can affect chambering with longer rounds. It also will adversely affect accuracy in a negative manner. Easy to lean the carbon ring with the proper chemical. Best of luck

When a 10/22 has a chamber other than a SAAMI sporting chamber, there's a good chance it's a Bentz chamber. This chamber is designed for semi-auto .22LR. It is shorter than the standard SAAMI chamber. (See the chart below for a comparison.)

As a result, the longer Stinger will often not chamber. Many manufacturers of rimfire rifles with chambers other than SAAMI sporting chambers will recommend shooters not to use ammo such as Stingers.
