Dlask or Grizzly 8.5 shotgun patterning

Evening ladies and gents,

Question for anyone who’s played with one of the 8.5” barrelled shotguns - how does shot pattern at 25 yards?

Flight control wadded ammo really helps. When i had my 8.5" barrel i had no problem hitting skeet targets. However the blast was too much for most squad members and some one offered me way to much for it so i sold it before i really patterned it but it shot slugs well and flight control buck shot well

I wish you could hunt with them but not a possibility in BC, they’re nice and compact and I bet they would be a great ground swatter once you had the barrel threaded for chokes.

Barrel length minimum in BC is 12"

Paul_T beat me to it, stupid regulation if you ask me.

The only real use for it would be blasting away at things for fun or as a bear/cougar defense gun, if that’s the case I’ll just grab a rifle or a shotgun that has a barrel length I can hunt with.

not an 8.5 but i had a 12.5 that would pattern beautifully with a load of number five shot and an extra full turkey choke .
