I'm considering a Dlask receiver to finally put to use the KIDD parts I bought a few years ago. They now offer a silver finish or black. How durable is the finish? The black is slightly cheaper, but wondering if the silver might be better in the long run, as any marks through the finish might be less visible.

ive actually got both the Dlask finishes.
both are tuff.
i dont think you have to worry about getting scratches on it, i dont baby my guns and i have yet to get a mark in mine.
they seem to use a real good anodizing.
and if your wondering, the Kidd stuff runs uber sweet in the Dlask receivers.

Thanks. I guess my next decision is whether the black or silver receiver will look best with a polished stainless KIDD barrel. I'm hoping to mount it all in a Boyds Forest Camo Pro Varmint like yours.

i think they have 2 stainless colors now, the dull one i have and a new lighter brighter one???
