Sounds like whining to me.. You want to dictate what things should cost... But you aren't willing to make them yourself.. So here is the reality of the situation... You have little control over the situation... suck it up and either s**t or get off the pot.. demanding things makes you sound like a 3 year old...
Most people who complain about price have no concept of what is involved with designing and manufacturing a product. And last I checked, businesses are supposed to make money, not give away products.
actually, i have been in manufactoring, all my life, i was raised into it, and so have the past generations of my family, and im very passionate about it. Do i have insight on this particular product, no, i do not know what was involved in making this product. i do however understand in whats involved in designing a product, testing, R&D, and manufactoring it, and it would be a waste for dlask to do all this, and not sell as many as they could.
Im not dictating anything, im simply a nobody, just a guy who likes this sport/hobby, and one of the guys who would buy one if the cost was lower, its just that simple. The cost turns me right off, i dont care if they cost more to make than they are selling them for. if the price never comes down ,then thats fine with me, theres lots of things for me to spend my money on out there, no skin off my back. however this is a small gun enthusiast forum, in a country thats very hard to get most things firearms related. from someone who supports this hobby/sport i would like to see everyone and every business succeed, though some from time to time either dont supply service or product thats significant and need to be called on it, and i believe this is a great product just priced a little too high, for mine, and quite a few peoples likings on this forum. I would very much like to see dlask succeed in selling this product.
The only person who knows what it really costs to make this, is the manufactorer, and dlask knows exactly what they can sell the product at their lowest dollar, and at thier highest dollar and still make a profit. I as a manufactorer like to hear feedback and if I could sell X amount more if the price was lower on B product, then I would either figure out a way to get the cost down, or "get off the pot" but by the looks of it, they have already put a lot of time and money into development and it would be a shame to just not sell any.
remember, things only cost what someone is willing to pay.
