Okay, this may be a stupid question but here goes nothing............

I bought a Dlask adjustable rear sight for my Sig Sauer 1911 22. my question is, is there a set screw to keep the sight from moving sideways that I am too blind (or mentally inept) to see?
It fits snugly in the dovetail but can be moved easily.

The sights I am used to have a screw underneath the adjustable sight, remove the elevation screw then lift the sight blade, should be a screw there. My experience is with Caspian but I would assume the same setup here.

What he said... Mind you don't let the springs pounce ....sights work great..

Before you install the fiber optic rod in the front sight, get yourself a good flashlight and have a look down the hole on the top. You should see a small female hex. My first one was missing that small hex. This problem was promptly resolved with a quick call to Dlask.

Thanks,
Cal.

Hi calvados.boulard, funny that...when you lifted the adj rear sight, there was a spring on either side of the fixing screw, they kept the pressure on the sight blade for the adjustment...still got it I think so I'll post pics...

My bad...I miss-read the original post. I was referring to the front sight, not the rear. I have both, but haven't take apart the rear. So all those fixing screws that you're referring to do is hold the site blade in place? It would be great if you could post those pics.

Thanks Import,
Cal.

my gsg.... now sold, but i do miss it...polished the slide when the finish wore a bit just a little ahead of gsg and their stainless.....but looks sharp eh?
