DMR Scope Mount Height

Hi all, I am in the process of finding a scope mount for a DMR build. The gun is either an XCR(Fast stock) or an AR15, scope has a 50mm objective, 56mm bell diameter.

My question is what mount height should I go for? I know everyone's cheek weld is different, but I just want to get a rough idea.

If you ask for the measurements of the outer diameter of the objective bell divide by 2 and add some for clearance and compare to available ring heights most rings are measured from top of rail to center line of scope tube hope this helps

Sounds good. What about cheek weld? Do people mostly use medium rings for AR15?
