DMSO solvent

It sounds like a one way ticket to heavy metal poisoning if used bare handed. It's used to improve skin absorbtion of medicine, but I think could help lead get in.

Why not stick to more conventional choices? ATF, diesel, veg oil, range of regular solvents. Even regarding ATF, I would gently advise to avoid, as guns get hot and smoke up any oil you use.

Yep , permeates the skin well (transdermal ) I just happen to have 500 ml kickn around the shop and
want to flush the trigger & fly on an 1885 . (no lightter fluid)

actually leaves a ''garlic'' taste in the mouth

Xlnt cleaner on tools , wondering if it corrodes bluiing ?

thnkz for the caution , heads up man.

Your funny. You have $200 of dmso and you want to clean gun parts with it.
Sell it and buy a small parts cleaner. Or dilute it to 70% when you get old to releave pain in all your joints.
118ml is $40 now.
