Hey guys, I hope this has not been beaten to death, but I couldn't find anything with the search function. I'm looking to put the Hogue Tamer pistol grip and forend, that are made for Rem. 870's, on my 18.5 in. Norinco clone. What's your experience with after market stocks (in general) and the 870 clones, do they fit right in?

Thanks for your help. Oh and would any of you know where I could get the Tamers in Canada or would it just be easier to order directly from Hogue? I always dread those duty fees...

Thanks a bunch!:shotgun:

Are the threads on the stock bolt, receiver stud and fore-end nut the same? I thought China used the metric system.

I hate coming across stripped threads on used guns. I have one now. An AR lower, onto which someone forced a 'rinco receiver extention, I think.

The only thing that will not fit your 'rinco are the Remington barrels. The mag tube is longer.

OH crap:eek:...I knew i shoulda done a search before hand...how much work is it to make one fit,or is it even worth it...LOL...anybody want to buy a rinco minus a barrel..LOL

Not worth the expense.

You would have to remove the ring and reposition it an furnace braze it back into place, without damaging the barrel.

The frames for the 14" barrels are the same as Remington.

or send it to dlask and have an norenco smd 12 job done nothing says manly like an 8.5 inch shootie they could also probly re fit the tube to be the porper lenth as well
