Do all NEF Pardners have high stocks?

Is it just me, or could the NEF Pardner do with a bit more overall drop in the stock (comb, heel & toe)? Perhaps its also the reason why the gun seems to have more felt recoil than it should.
 
At the price point they fall under I would'n hesitate to take a rasp to the stock and fit to your own specs . I believe it is some type of a hard wood not walnut should be able to come up with a Finnish that would look all wright
 
I bought a Tamer .410 and can't get my cheek bone past the stock for proper line of sight...a little frustrating...

Try Mystic Precision; the site says they do orders of Choate bits ... like this 'regular' stock and 'Store Arm' foregrip (hollow for little bits, like backup shells, or matches, or W.H.Y.)
