Do any of the big manufacturers make the 375 RUM anymore???

Dave Jennings has a reamer, so any rifle chambered for .375 H&H can become a .375 Ultra, you just need to decide for yourself if the increase in performance is worth the cost of rechambering. Increasing performance increases recoil, which can lead to a stock failure. A bedding job is a worthwhile consideration if rechambering is contemplated.

What do you get for 300 grain velocity with your short barrel?

I think you are shopping for a factory unicorn. I hunt with the .338 RUM and have never used factory ammo, but I haven't seen a box of ammo for it in literally years. The .375 I don't think is any better.
 
The 375 Wby, not the 378, is a real sleeper. No brass problems, and mine drove 270s to 3000 fps and 300s a tad past 2800 out of the ZKK602 factory barrel.

I disagree. The Ruger is to H&H, what 7-08 is to 7x57. A modern shorter actioned rifle in a performance clone.

The 375 rum takes it to another level, without the name Weatherby or belt some seem to dislike. Not the following of the other two. However, once you have your rifle, dies, and brass the performance is definitely worth the trouble. Can't imagine anyone shooting factory ammo for any of them. Every one of these three are going to take some money for dies, and expendables. Reloader calibers.

Mine is a R700 LSS, 25 " barrel, muzzle brake. It shoots 260 partitions to 180 300 wm velocity levels. I bought a identical 26" factory barrel here for $100. Have over 200 cases and tonnage of powder, primer, projectile. I am set. Only problem is that were i moved, the game species are coastal blacktail. Two days travel to Rum country. Luckily i have a few other choices, for the smurf bucks.

I load 260gr in my shortened to 21" barreled Rem 700 LSS in 375RUM using RL17 powder to 3020fps, 300gr to 2800fps and 350gr to 2450fps pushed them to 2525fps but backed off.

I have repeatedly put three 260gr Accubonds into under 5" groups at 500 yards the 300gr also give excellent accuracy shot my 24 3/16" interior grizzly with a 300gr Partitions at 2800fps the 350gr bullets using XS Sights tall Weaver backup ghost ring sights cloverleaf @ 50 yards.

Dies/powder/bullets cost exactly what other cartridge components cost brass is the only thing tougher to get but I have more than enough to last my lifetime and my son's lifetime so have no issues other than like nowarningshot I have been stuck in blacktail country for the last 9 years only 375 cal rifles I have been hunting with are my 14" and 21" barreled T/C Contenders in 375JDJ I don't even take out my 375H&H...
