Do any of the current short 870 barrels take screw in chokes?

As above? 12, 14, 18.5" for the 870?
I'm considering one final build to end them all and want to do this one right.
Are there any with removable/swappable chokes?

not the dominion arms ones. might be able to get them threaded but there may not be enough material. im going to measure my 26" removable choke express barrel and the 12.5" DA barrel to compare

the 870 tacticals with the breacher chokes, obviously, take chokes.
the 20-gauge 870 Express Compact 18.5" also take chokes.

the second generation of 12.5" Grizzlies take chokes, the first dont.
the 8.5" Grizzlies dont.

there is *plenty* of material in the 8.5 for a gunsmith to tap for chokes - the barrel is well over 1/16" thick at the muzzle.

The Remington #24545 barrel is 20" and has rifle sights and choke tubes. I have one on my 870.

The 20" barrel allows a +3 extension to fit, rather than the +2 on an 18" barrel.

Which model did you buy? In all my searching the only 18.5" threaded barrel I've seen has been on the 'express tactical' model and nothing sold separate. Interested in what you have to say! Thanks
