Do any of you have a No4 rear sight like this

or have seen any like this -- I have no info on it but suspect some older commercial type hunting sight -- I bought this several years ago at a local show

Rear sight

I have a similar one, but it's milled from solid pieces of steel and was commercially made.

I thought at first it was home made but is done too nice I think

It just might be home made, but whoever did it, WOW. Extremely simple and easily duplicated, very reliable, rugged and efficient. A very good hunting sight and fully adjustable for windage and elevation. As simple as they come and perfect for its intended purpose. I like it. bearhunter

No markings that I can see so I suspect, as said, home made. But well done.

Saw a similar one on e-bay yesterday. It was called a Rice bolt mounted peep sight for a US Krag
