do bunker shotgun barrels have a higher poi

My barrels were straight, but I liked a higher cheek-position on the stock when I shot bunker on the national team. I really got my head forward on the comb, making sure that I could see a healthy slope on my rib.

All the targets in bunker, even the lowest set, have a pretty healthy rise on them - I found having an aggressive 'up' on my hold meant I could shoot rising straightaways without having to cover them and shoot blind.

Worked for me, anyway - YMMV.

Perazzi's standard international trap gun barrels shoot a 50/50 pattern. A really high shooting gun (like an ATA gun) is a mistake for bunker. As Doc M points out, point of impact can be adjusted with the stock.

Doc, when are you going to come back and play with us again?
