Do different ruger magazines fit the P89?

Hi all,

I'm looking for some magazines for a P89, and i'm noticing that some advertisments are saying that magazines from a P85, P90, etc will fit. Is this true? If not, can someone give me a straight answer.

I have used mags from a P94 in my P89 - no issues, other than having to bend the feed lips a bit to hold a 9mm case instead of a .40.

I think the ORIGINAL P85 has different mags before a certain serial number...

There is the older model P89 and the new model P89 if you check Rugers site they tell you which mags fit which guns (by serial #). I have an old one and tried a new mag in it, and did not fit
