Yes Very calm dayVery impressive that's about 1/4 MOA. No wind that day?
I like to compare data that is using similar components; bullets/powder. I compared 55 gr and 100 gr, yes the CM does give a 1-200 FPS advantage. With 100 gr Similar speed advantage for the CM; but keep in mind that the CM with it's case design will be doing this with about 10% more pressure, so barrel life will be a bit shorter. Then there is the availability issue. .243 is very popular, and ammo is available. With 100 gr the Dasher is comparable to the CM, but does it with pressures similar to the 243. Where to buy ammo? Ammo price? Thanks all,
I should have said initially,
Is there any reason I would go 22-250 over the 22 CDm?
Although if im buying a new barrel altogether, im thinking I would go 6 cdm instead.

This is the reason they lost popularity, heavy bullets did not stabalize. Likewise with lightly built, short, fat hollow points a faster rifling twist would cause bullets to disintegrate. 4000 FPS X 1.5 turns per foot (1 in 8 twist) = 6000 revolutions per second or 360,000 RPM, they just don't hold together. They never reach the target.Twist rate requirements are based on bullet length not weight.
For example while a 14 twist 22-250 will usually stabilize a 60 grain Partition - a short little flat-base bullet - it won't stabilize the long 55 grain TTSX.
Too much action and wrong bolt face for a 6x45. 6x47 lapua?
