Do I need Two M14's

You are right Walter "it defies logic"... I don't know why but it does.
It is like me wanting to get a 16 inch Stag, when you get them in of course.
I have a 20 inch LH Stag so I must get another one, but I do not know why.
Maybe I did not have to many toys as a child, but now I can so I will.
Any word on the ambi safety.

By that same logic, I need two as well, but I too have only one. I knew there was something wrong and it is that it defies logic. I even have a credit card.

You need at least two M14s for each member of your family.

Your kids count if they are older than 14, otherwise buy them
.22 or .223 bolt.

The way I view firearms purchases is: If you can afford* it, you shouldn't be asking, you should be on the phone making an order.

I have a aftermarket spring guide for an M14. I guess that could be reason enough to purchase one.
