Do LEE 2 cavity mould handles fit the 6 cavity gang moulds?

The Lee 2 cavity handles do not come off, they are permanently installed until they break which may happen the first or second time you use them. $17 doesn't seem like alot of money for handles but I know they are pretty ricketty. Handles for other mold types can be $50 or so, but you get what you pay for.

Don't bother looking at WSS for any handles. No stock. I just ordered the one remaining set that Calgary had left. They've got about eight, six cavity molds sitting on the shelf and no handles.

I've got a bunch of the Lee 2 cavity molds, and they work fine. I just want to try some SWC's in my 44 mag, so I decided to try a 6 cavity since they had one in stock. I'll let you know what the die and handle set are like when it comes in. Ought to be around November

Hi Adriel
I have a large assortment of lee molds and wouldn’t think twice about buying another.
6 of the 8 molds I have are 6 cavity because they have less closing realignment issues.
One of my 200 grain SWC 45acp has cast almost 20000 bullets. 6 bullets every 10 - 15 seconds,100 bullets, stop for more lead, continue casting. I have 2 sets of handles for 6 molds.
My opinion would be buy the six cavity and handles, you can make 6 at a time not 1 or 2.
The mold pays for it self after the first 1000, what with the jump in factory bullets.

The 6 cavity 200 grn SWC .45 ACP is the one I ordered. Was just wondering if I could re-use the handles I've already got with my 2 cavity mold. $17 is not much considering how many bullets I'll make with it.

Single cavity molds are a pain in the arse if you do any volume of shooting.
The Lyman six cavity steel molds, are friggin heavy after a long casting session, but make beautiful bullets.
Been meaning to try a big six Lee mold, I've got lots of singles. The singles do have alignment issues, more as the mold gets older.
