Do regular K98 stripper clips work on .308 mausers

Regular 8mm stripper clips have worked fine in my Israeli K98, Czech K98, and Spanish FR8 all chambered in .308. They should all retain the standard charger bridge of the original calibre, unless Bubba modified them... The 8mm ones work for my 30-06 Norwegian K98 as well.

8mm Chargers (stripper clips) work but with some ammo such as Norinco steel case non corrosive (copper wash) with "tumbled in a cement mixer with gravel" rough surface the ammo can be hard to push out sometimes. But then again same ammo in Canadian surplus chargers (stripper clips) they can be tough to push out too.

They won't work with ALL .308 mausers, only the ones that originally used the "three bump" 8mm clips. For instance, they will work in Isreali and Spanish rifles, but not in South American ones such as the Chilean M1912s, or the Brazilian rifles. In those cases you will need M93/95 clips, or springfield 1903/swedish M96 clips. (two bump) to work.
